The Story of BMP Marine Consultants and Surveyors

BMP Marine Consultants and Surveyors was founded in 2005 by Zlatomir "Zach" Vergiev, a highly professional Liberian Flag Auditor and Marine Surveyor with the National Association of Marine Surveyors.

Working in and around the Marine Industry for the last 30+ years, Zach is no stranger to the art of Marine Surveying. Having graduated from the Bulgarian Marine Academy in 1990, he very shortly thereafter began to climb the ranks and made a name for himself as the Captain of then brand new San Fragisk, a 115-foot, 320 passenger, air cushion craft capable of 50 knots!

After arriving to the United States and settling in Secaucus, New Jersey, Zach began his U.S. career with Alex Stewart International, where he worked for over a decade performing services such as Draft Surveying and Steel Scrap Inspections as well as all types of General Marine Surveying, Cargo Surveying, and Consulting before founding BMP Marine Consultants and Surveyors.
