Draft Surveys

Bul Mar Prof Marine performs Draft Surveys for shippers, receivers, ship owners, charterer and terminals. The purpose of a Draft, or Draught, Surveys is to determine the amount of cargo loaded or discharged from a particular vessel. The surveys determines by accurate measurement the vessel’s displacement before and after loading or discharging. The difference between these two displacements is the weight of cargo loaded or discharged.

Our large vessel Draft Surveys are known to achieve accuracy to within 0.5% and serve to be of great benefit to all involved parties. Furthermore, they are conducted meticulously and with care by quality personnel.

Bul Mar Prof Marine's final reports incorporate every aspect and difficulty which has been encountered in order to convey all aspects of the survey.
