What is your Service Area?

BMP Marine grew its roots serving clients in New York and New Jersey, but now travels all over the country for our many happy clients. We mainly focus on servicing East Coast clients in the following Areas: New York, Manhattan, Long Island, Staten Island, Northern New Jersey, Central New Jersey, South Jersey, Jersey Shore, Philadelphia, and Connecticut. Our domestic and international partners service Florida, Belgium, and Turkey.

Are you insured?

Do I have to be present for the survey?

Only if you want to be. It is your survey and we are there to help you gain knowledge of the vessel or cargo. We will help walk you through the inspection and answer your questions.

What should I do before the Survey?

Will I have the same Surveyor every time?

We understand our clients and personnel can often form connections and understanding of one another, making it hard to have anyone else. For this reason, although not possible to guarantee, we strive to have the same Surveyors assigned to your projects every time.

Does the cargo have to be hauled for the survey?

What equipment do you use?

The BMP Marine team utilizes a variety of tools to perform the highest quality Surveys. Included below is a partial list of some commonly used equipment: Audiogauge, Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge, Moisture Meter, Compression Tester, Digital Camera, Thermal Imaging Camera, Flashlight, etc.

What methods of payment are accepted?

How do you price your services?

Our prices are reasonable and competitive. You will find most Marine and Cargo Surveyors’ rates fall within a certain range, and that our fees are set competitively within that range.

What is your policy for cancellations?

All we ask is at least 48-hours notice. If notice is not provided within 48-hours of a scheduled survey, a cancellation fee may result.

Where did the name "BMP Marine " come from?

BMP Marine was formed by Bulgarian Expatriate Zlatomir "Zach" Vergiev. As a Marine Professional with Bulgarian roots, it wasn't hard for Zach to decide that BMP Marine was the perfect name for his Marine and Cargo Surveying company.

Do you have a satisfaction guarantee?

Customer satisfaction is our primary goal. It is very important to us that you let us know if you have even the most minor of concerns with our service. If you notice anything about your Marine Survey that you aren't happy with, please let us know immediately. We are committed total quality management, which means improving the quality of your service every single time.

What are your hours?

Our goal is to provide service how you want it and when you want it. In order to satisfy this goal, we maintain early and late hours.
